Pronia Medical Systems Announces Contract With Bon Secours Charity Health System

SUFFERN, New York - October 8, 2010 — Pronia Medical Systems, LLC is pleased to announce that it has contracted with the Bon Secours Charity Health System to implement the GlucoCare™ IGC System across Bon Secours' three-hospital network. GlucoCare™ will soon be available at Good Samaritan Hospital (Suffern, NY), Bon Secours Community Hospital (Port Jervis, NY) and St. Anthony Community Hospital (Warwick, NY). The Bon Secours Charity Health System is part of the Bon Secours Health System, a $2.9 billion not-for-profit Catholic health system affiliated with 18 acute-care hospitals in seven states.

About Pronia Medical Systems, LLC – Pronia is a Louisville, KY-based company founded in January, 2007. The company’s first product is the GlucoCare™ IGC System, an automated decision support system for the management of hyperglycemia in critically ill patients. Currently the system has 510(k) clearance for the Yale protocol with glucose targets of 90-120 mg/dl and 100-139 mg/dl, and a 120-160 mg/dL version will be available soon. Many other protocols that address the needs of specific patient populations are currently under development.
